PEFC to stage procurement seminar

The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC) is to stage a one-day seminar in Glasgow looking at the power of responsible procurement.

The free afternoon session will include talks and discussions covering global forest certification, the benefits of PEFC certification and sustainable timber’s use in the Scottish timber frame market. Speakers from across the timber trade will lead sessions and discussion, including Peter Latham, representing the PEFC UK board; Mark Murphy, from Donaldson Timber; Steven Streets, from the UK Timber Frame Association; and Alasdair McGregor, from BM TRADA.

The event will take place at the Ramada Glasgow City hotel on June 3.
