Pergo launches design competition

The influence of art in industry will be a major focus of a design competition run by HPL and HDL laminate flooring manufacturer Pfleiderer AG.

Pergo will demonstrate its focus on design by showcasing the talents of young representatives of the urban art scene in Berlin in the Pergo Design Award 2010.

Under the theme “Illustrate Creative City”, four specially invited illustrators will create distinctive designs and compete for top honours.

Designs will be exhibited at a central Berlion art gallery from October 9-23 before appearing at thePergoTex flooring exhibitions in Hanover and Las Vegas in January 2011.

The winner will be decided through a Facebook vote and announced at PergoTex on January 16, 2011.
