Pfleiderer achieves mill Nordic Swan certification

The panel manufacturere can now use the Nordic Swan eco label, which attests to the company operating in a sustainable and environmentally-friendly way.

An audit at Pfleiderer’s Baruth site covered the entire product chain for StyleBoard MDF CARB2.

“For several days, the independent experts meticulously checked whether the demanding requirements of Nordic eco-labelling were fufilled,” said Claus Seemann, Pfleiderer head of product management.

He said this involved examining which raw materials were used and where they were sourced, as well as whether products were harmful to health and how they could be recycled at the end of their lives.
