Plywood dinner postponed
3 November 2020The Plywood Club of London annual dinner, which was due to take place at The Brewery in London in January has been postponed.
The Brewery has been closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and is holding the PLC’s deposit over until the following year. The event will now take place on January 28, 2022.
“I know this has been a very difficult time for everybody, some more than others,” said Geoff Maynard, PLC chairman. “I know it’s a long time away but I am looking at the PCL dinner as the light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Let’s hope the Covid train is in the sidings in January 2022 and not still coming down the tracks with its headlight on!”
