Ridgeons’ raises funds for air ambulance

1 September 2013

More than 45 key customers and suppliers have helped Ridgeons’ Norwich branch to raise £600 in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance, the Ridgeon Group’s chosen charity for 2013.

Organised by the branch to thank customers for their continued support, the celebration event included a host of activities such as special deals, a raffle, a hog roast and demonstrations from suppliers Rixonway Kitchens, Ecotherm, JELD-WEN, Keystone Group, Keylite Roof Windows, Toolbank, Dale Hardware, Stonemarket, Marshalls, Knauf Insulation, Symphony and Garador.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance was on hand to showcase the efforts the charity undertakes in the region.

"I'd like to say a great big thank you to all our customers and suppliers who took the time to get involved with our open event. It was a brilliant evening and we raised a respectable £600 for one of the region's worthiest causes, the East Anglian Air Ambulance," said Norwich branch manager Tim Wigby.

"It's not often that we get the opportunity to officially say thank you to our customers and this event gave us the chance to do just that."
