Rupert Scott returns to marketing role within TRADA

Rupert Scott has been appointed membership & marketing manager of TRADA.

Mr Scott joined the BM TRADA Group 12 years ago as marketing manager for Chiltern International Fire and in 2001 took on additional marketing responsibility for TRADA and TRADA Technology. As part of TRADA’s forward strategy, he was appointed regulations consultant in 2007, to develop the Codes & Regulations area of the website and to provide guidance to members and registered users on changes to key legislation, codes and standards via a series of construction briefings.

“As well as providing a membership package which meets members’ needs it is important for TRADA to be seen to represent the interests of timber and wood products through an active marketing and PR strategy,” said Mr Scott. “This year we have celebrated our 75th anniversary by investing in the future. As we move ahead, we are looking to prepare members for the changes which lie ahead for our industry. Also, we will actively support and encourage innovation in wood products and technology to further develop markets for timber.”
