Södra to launch architecture competition

Södra is working with tennis legend Stefan Edberg in an architecture competition to design a futuristic tennis “concept” venue made from timber.

The competition, which runs during spring 2009, encourages architects to design a timber building combining interesting architecture with a cost-effective and low-energy design.

In running the event, Södra hopes to further develop high quality timber construction methods.

Further details will be announced in January.
