Setra CEO resigns

25 October 2022

Setra's chief executive officer Katarina Levin is to leave her position at Setra's annual general meeting in May 2023.

"After careful consideration, I have decided to leave my role as CEO,” said Ms Levin. “It is all due to personal reasons, I simply wish to manage my time more freely. The board has been notified of my decision and I intend to fulfil the CEO assignment until May 2023."

Ms Levin assumed her position on January 1, 2020. It has been a time marked by the covid pandemic and an extreme increase in demand during 2021 and the beginning of 2022.

"With Katarina, Setra has had a fantastically capable CEO who has had the ability to define and deliver, with a clear focus on the future,” said Setra's chairman of the board, Anders Källström. “I have the greatest respect for what Katarina has achieved, and at the same time equal understanding for her decision to focus on other important parts of the life puzzle."

The board will immediately begin the recruitment process to find Ms Levin's successor. The process will be completed in good time for the 2023 AGM, said Mr Källström.
