Setra mouldings unit reduces output

Setra is reducing production of mouldings at its Kvarnåsen processing unit, with the possible loss of 15 jobs.

“We must adapt our production to the current market situation,” said Anders Olofsson, manager at Kvarnåsen.

“We will retain flexibility in the unit, but to avoid building up stocks we will confine ourselves to order-driven production for the time being.”

The site specialises in untreated and surface-treated mouldings for the Scandinavian building trade. Interior claddings are also surface-treated in a paint workshop – a recent investment.
