Setra has issued a notice to reduce the production of whitewood sawmills in Hasselfors, Heby and Farila in Sweden.

The notice issued for the three sawmills is in addition to local production cutbacks already decided during the fourth quarter of 2011 and planned production shutdowns at Setra’s sawmills over the end of 2011.

The cutback of production at the will affect a total of 39 employees, 25 in Heby, 10 in Hasselfors and four in Farila. Currently, Heby sawmill employs 96 workers in Heby, 87 people at Hasselfors sawmill, and 40 workers at Farila sawmill.
