Snows staff on fact-finding trip
29 September 2014Four Snows Timber sales staff have learned more about large-scale timber production during a trip to Swedish wood producer Setra.
Southern sales officer manager Graham Parker, international sales Nik Wells, and sales representatives Paul Cairns and Peter O’Rouke made the trip after being judged Snows Timber’s “star performers” in 2013.
They visited a tree nursery, a harvesting site and Setra’s Kastet redwood mill, Skutskar planing mill, and Heby whitewood mill. The group was led by purchasing director John Lloyd. Kevin Parsons from Setra in the UK was the British host.
