Steico announces Puhoswood alliance

I-joist manufacturer Steico AG has unveiled a new alliance with Puhoswood Ltd.

Puhoswood, in conjunction with its partner Transit Medway, will provide warehousing and logistics to supply Steico products to distributors and customers throughout the UK.

The announcement follows earlier news of Andy Moore, previously managing director of Puhoswood Ltd, being appointed as managing director of Steico’s UK operation Steico Ltd.

Essentially, Puhoswood will be performing a similar role to when it supplied iLevel (formerly Trus Joist) engineered wood products as “sole supplier” for iLevel in the UK.

Puhoswood and Finnforest, which bought iLevel’s European business earlier this year, decided recently to end their iLevel relationship by mutual consent.
