STEICO launches dry process wood fibre board

22 January 2013

STEICO has expanded its range of wood fibre insulation sarking boards to include a product made by a dry manufacturing process.

The dry process allows boards such as the new STEICOuniversal, aimed at new construction, to be made in a range of thicknesses without the need for laminations to make up thicker boards, as is the case with the standard wet manufacturing process.

The product is available in 35-160mm thicknesses. STEICO has also expanded its range of sarking boards for roof renovation projects with STEICOspecial dry – made in standard thicknesses up to 200mm, though up to 300mm is possible.

The company said its range of wet and dry process boards now covered all the possible technical requirements of modern building.
