Steico starts construction of new HQ
20 October 2012German wood-fibre insulation board and I-joist producer Steico has broken ground on its new HQ project near Munich, to be built almost entirely with Steico products.
The timber building is expected to be completed within 10 months and will house about 70 staff.
"We do not just want to build a modern office building," said Udo Schramek, Steico CEO. "It is important to us to send a signal that ecology and economics can complement each other."
