23 March 2007

Super E, the Canadia nenergy efficient building programme, has concluded a promotional tour of the UK with a conference for construction and energy conservation professionals.

Super E delivered a series of lectures at architectural universities, held housing seminars at Ecobuild and offered on-site training among a range of activities during the month-long programme.

The House Builders Federation and the Energy Savings Trust took part in the final seminar in London, in which Super E explained plans to create zero carbon homes.

Jeff Culp, of Super E, said: “The green agenda in the UK is now moving faster than anyone could have imagined 12 months ago. Super E has been approached by a wide range of stakeholders to help provide the UK industry with a rational, evidence-based view of the way forward and to bridge the gap between good intention and practical experience.”
