T Brewer awards World Cup prize

England may have exited the World Cup early but Ashley Kelsey of Burnham-based Space Cubed Ltd was a winner with a new 42in HD-ready LCD television courtesy of T Brewer & Co, by guessing the first round results.

T Brewer ran the competition over eight weeks, with clients and visitors to the company website invited to predict the results of all the first-round games.

At the final whistle, more than 100 entries had been received and three all had 34 points. Mr Kelsey, whose prediction of 109 was nearest to the 101 total of goals scored, was awarded the television.

Allen Green of AP Green Builders (115 goals) and Darren Stump of Telford Homes (135 goals) each received a bottle of champagne.
