TFS appoints to board of directors

17 February 2012

Trade Fabrication Systems (TFS) has promoted Howard Morris to commercial director.

Previously general manager, Mr Morris has been with TFS since 2009 and has been responsible for overseeing the company’s development on a day-to-day operations level, from a producer of peel-off protective films for wood-based panel flooring to developing a broader portfolio of panel processes and coatings.

In his new role Mr Morris will manage the expansion of TFS’s product portfolio through investment in R&D, as well as pushing forward the bespoke service for product development to meet specific customer requirements.

Managing director Jean Richardson said Mr Morris had played a fundamental role in making the company’s vision a reality over the last couple of years.

“And it’s not just the product portfolio where Howard has made a real difference but also via internal processes; he was instrumental in the company achieving ISO 9001 quality assurance and Investors in People,” said Mrs Richardson.

Mr Howard has more than 27 years’ experience in the panel, timber and construction industry, having worked for Norbord, Weyerhaeuser, Knauf Drywall, SIG Insulations and Mallinson Denny.
