TimberX launches timber supply business
31 August 2023TimberX, which is part of the Kybotech Ltd group, the company behind Garden Buildings Direct and BillyOh garden furniture, has launched a new timber supply business based in the outskirts of Hull.
TimberX offers a comprehensive range of products from rough-sawn timber to high-quality manufactured timber products. All this is delivered from its 106,000ft2 state-of-the-art facility, which includes three high-speed moulding lines, automated cross-cut facilities and a fully automatic pressure treatment tank - one of the largest of its kind in the UK.
Placing great importance on sustainable timber production, TimberX recognises the significance of preserving forests and maximising carbon capture. The company has implemented stringent sourcing practices to ensure the timber it supplies comes only from FSC and PEFC sources. And the site’s bespoke tool room means cutters and blocks can be made to request and maintained in-house.
