Timbmet MD Wendy Trott to leave company
19 October 2012Timbmet has announced that its managing director Wendy Trott will be leaving the company at the end of the year.
Timbmet, one of the UK's largest timber product distributors, said Ms Trott had decided to pursue an opportunity outisde the timber industry.
"She will be missed and we wish her all the best in her new role," said Simon Fineman, Timbmet's chief executive officer.
"Timbmet will continue to build on the excellent work Wendy has overseen in the last three years to drive the company forward."
Ms Trott said she had enjoyed her time with Timbmet despite challenging market conditions over the last few years.
Timbmet's core management team of Sean O'Sullivan, Chris Brown, Nigel Cox, Gordon Tennant and Liz Richards will continue to drive the business forward while Carlos Fernandez Pena is returning to his role as chief operating officer on an interim basis, advising on strategic matters.
