Timbmet signs Composite Prime distribution deal
26 October 2018A new distribution agreement has been reached between outdoor decking company Composite Prime and Timbmet Ltd, which has plans to expand its ‘outdoor living’ products.
The distribution agreement covers Composite Prime’s HD Deck DUAL and HD Deck XS ranges.
“Composite Prime’s products stood out as being something that had real potential for us, establishing their own impressive market presence in a very short period,” said Paul Holstead, Timbmet’s commercial director.
“This is a truly nationwide distribution arrangement,” added Rudy Micallef, Composite Prime’s commercial director. “The fit is tremendous for all parties and is already starting to pay dividends in terms of tapping into such well-established distribution channels.”
“Composite Prime has grown quickly from a standing start three years ago and the challenge now is to make sure product is readily available as market demand accelerates,” said Mr Micallef. “Now we have these important network arrangements in place, we are in a strong position to build on the momentum achieved to date.”
The new deal comes hot on the heels of a similar distribution agreement reached with Taylor Maxwell, which is supplying Composite Prime’s mainstream decking ranges to timber and builders’ merchants nationwide, again leading to new business.
