TRADA publishes decking guide mark two
30 October 2006TRADA Technology Ltd is to publish the second edition of its professional guide for decking designers and builders.
Timber Decking, endorsed by the Timber Decking Association, is available from November and provides industry professionals with guidance on the design and construction good practices necessary to ensure deck longevity and desired peformance.
The 80-page guide covers design of both the complete deck and individual components, including timber specification and selection, construction and finishing treatments, plus cleaning and maintenance recommendations.
Written by TRADA consultant architect Patrick Hislop, the publication has more than 50 diagrams, drawings and photographs. Copies are available from TRADA at info@trada.co.uk or by calling 01494 569602.
