TRADA unveils architect seminar programme

BM TRADA has unveiled autumn dates for regional architect and engineer half-day seminars as part of its new contract for UK wood promotion campaign Wood for Good.

Subjects covered include modern methods of construction using British timber, wood’s role in sustainable building and an overview of EC5. Case studies will be presented and concerns addressed about the use of wood for specific applicaions.

For the first time, training will include delivery via webinars, as well as a series of in-practice events. Architectural and engineering practices will have to provide a minimum of 30 delegates.

The first, aimed at architects, is at The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, London on October 2. The following seminar for engineers will be held at the Holiday Inn, Bristol, on November 20. For more detail visit www.bmtrada.com/technical.
