Traders get online responsible purchasing training

An online training package has been launched to help timber traders steer their way through The Timber Trade Federation’s (TTF) Responsible Purchasing Policy (RPP) process.

The interactive resource, based on successful workshops led by the TTF sustainability executive Graham Bruford, includes active buttons on each page and an “Ask Dr Graham” feature for answering questions.

Brooks Brothers and Arnold Laver & Co previewed the tool and have recommended its use by TTF members.

The tool provides a summary of the risk rating process for products from high and low risk countries, use of the TTF Country Guides, Case studies and examples for members to practise risk rating for themselves.
