TTBS National Golf Day

The event is sponsored by MH Southern & Co Ltd (MHS) and will be held in memory of the late Robert Bruce, MHS sales director, TTBS past national president and TTBS trustee.

The format for the 2023 event will be as follows:

• Breakfast: tea/coffee/bacon rolls in the clubhouse (for those not using the Britannia hotel facilities and travelling on the day)
• 12 holes am Greensomes competition
• Lunch: sandwich and fries in the clubhouse.
• 18 holes Individual Stableford competition
• Three course dinner and prize presentation in the clubhouse (jacket and tie please)

The rate for the above package is £125 per player.

The TTBS may also stage a supper at the club on July 5 for £20 per head and those who are interested in attending should confirm.

A very limited number of buggies are available for an extra over of £25 for all day (30 holes) use based on two players sharing, which need to be reserved with Julie Stephenson email: admin@thengc.co.uk

Currently, there is no Pro Shop at the club, but this may change in 2023.

An allocation of 35 rooms accommodation has also been reserved for both Wednesday July 5 and Thursday July 6 at a special rate of £59 per room per night (single occupancy) and £79 per room per night (double occupancy) including breakfast at the Elite venue Britannia Grand Hotel, Gosforth Park (ex Marriott), which is adjacent to the golf course. There will be places available for additional non-playing guests for the dinner, which will be charged at an extra over rate of £25.

After the success at Breadsall Priory in 2022 the TTBS is hoping for a very strong response for this event, particularly from the 2022 trophy winners, and is encouraging interested parties to reserve their places and rooms at the hotel as soon as possible.
