TTF attracts 14 new members
27 June 2012Fourteen new members have joined the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) in the second quarter, including Quebec-based sawmiller Eacom Timber Corporation and credit insurer Prophet Group.
Other companies to join include panel products agency Woodia, importer Wardell Long Lengths, Israeli-based agents Tirosh Weinstock, East Sussex-based timber merchant Wenban-Smith, importer Prowood Ltd, Global Panel Products and International Timber.
TTF head of membership services Jean Rennie said the forthcoming EU Timber Regulation was acting as a key driver for membership growth, as members have free access to the federation’s Responsible Purchasing Policy.
“Membership of the TTF can therefore act as a form of market security, as purchasers will know that due diligence has been conducted,” said Ms Rennie.
