TTF flags up no deal Brexit webinar
25 October 2019The Timber Trade Federation (TTF) is offering its members the opportunity to participate in a Government Webinar relating to preparations for a no deal Brexit on Monday October 28 from 11:00 - 12:30.
The content is specifically targeted at the timber sector and will cover imports, exports, customs entry, VAT, plant health, and employment. Members will have the opportunity to listen and pose pertinent questions to presenters from HMRC, DEFRA, and the Forestry Commission.
Members are welcome to register delegates from across their organisations. As many TTF members have European suppliers and partners they are welcome to share this link more widely to allow them to also participate.
The TTF has also produced a downloadable and printable guide to help businesses navigate the no deal scenario should it arise, either now or at the end of 2020 when the transition period runs out.
The TTF says the guide is as comprehensive as possible given the information available but adds that it will update its guidance as information changes.
