TTJ Awards 2020 launches

2 March 2020

The TTJ Awards 2020 has launched with the annual event set to take place on September 25 in London.

This year’s 24th TTJ Awards, to be held at the Hilton London Bankside, recognises the achievements of timber trading and wood product manufacturers over the past year.

Materials handling specialist Combilift is once again the headline sponsor at this year’s event.

Companies ranging from sawmillers, importers, distributors, merchants, joinery manufacturers and structural timber systems fabricators will be competing across a range of judged and voted categories.

In addition, there are several architectural project awards to recognise the work being doing by architects and specifiers to push forward timber as a modern construction material.

Entries for the judged categories will open on March 16, covering Smart Manufacturing, Environmental Achievement, Excellence in Marketing, Career Development, Timber Innovation and three architectural timber project awards.

A digital voting system will again be in operation for the voted categories covering the trading areas of softwood, hardwood, panels, joinery products, structural timber systems, merchanting and small business.

Voting will be launched in April.

“We’re looking forward once again to recognising great service and product quality in the timber product industry,” said TTJ group editor Stephen Powney.

“I would encourage companies to have a good look at the judged award categories and start thinking now about submitting an entry.”

More than 300 people attended last year’s TTJ Awards.
