UKTFA sponsors national award

The UK Timber Frame Association (UKTFA) is sponsoring a category in the Daily Telegraph Homebuilding and Renovating Awards in partnership with Britannia 2003.

UKTFA is putting up the prize for the best timber frame house, one of three new special awards this year. The other two are best new basement and best new home 2003.

There are seven main categories – best contemporary house, best traditional house, best renovation, best conversion, best ecological home and best value for money.

Initial judging will take place during this month and the judging panel will visit shortlisted projects in September.
