White joins CPET reference board

Timber Trade Federation chief executive John White has been invited to join the Central Point of Expertise on Timber (CPET) reference board.

The board’s role is to inform government of forest stakeholders’ opinions and positions on the impacts of its timber procurement policy, to advise and make recommendations on CPET’s work and communicate planned acitivities.

“I hope to be able to follow in the significant footsteps of Andy Roby who has helped CPET consistently provide high quality advice to government on its procurement policy through his detailed knowledge of the trade, certification and government,” said Mr White.
