White talks timber at BMF Members’ Day
31 August 2012Sunday Times economics editor David Smith and Timber Trade Federation chief executive John White will be speakers at the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) Members’ Day on October 9.
Mr Smith will assess business prospects in an age of instability and how the UK and European economies will affect business in the coming year.
Other issues to be discussed include the latest changes to the Construction Products Regulation, CE marking and the EU Timber Regulation.
Delegates can also discover how to become Green Deal providers and how to benefit from the scheme following its launch in October.
Members' Day will be the first BMF event to be attended by the organisation's new managing director, John Newcomb.
