Wood Awards launch app
17 December 2012A free app has been launched by the Wood Awards, giving instant access to photos and technical details of the winners and shortlisted entries for this year’s competition.
The app, for Apple and Android smartphone and tablets, can be dowloaded at www.woodawards.com and is a digital development on the Awards winners' magazine, including additional information, extra photos and also video links for projects. Sponsors, winners and shortlisters for both the construction and furniture categories have also been invited to host direct links to their website for users who want to enquire further about the buildings, furniture or materials.

"Taking it online and into app stores is a fantastic step forward.
