Wood Campus online learning launched

1 March 2012

A new online timber learning resource called Wood Campus is now online and replaces Wood for Good’s former Timber Academy.

Wood Campus, developed in co-operation with TRADA, Wood for Good, the Timber Decking and Cladding Association and the Wood Window Alliance, is a joint initiative of Swedish Wood, Jewson and Buildbase.

Its aim is to provide a range of learning and information tools in one place for professional users of wood, from builders to specifiers.

The campus has five different levels – revised and updated Wood for Good RIBA-accredited CPD learning courses; new fast-track CPD courses; 90-second “know-how” videos for builders and DIYers; updated TRADA “Choose ‘n’ Use” builders’ factsheets; and a video library showing the best of the industry’s case histories and information films all together in one place.

All users and training records of the academy were transferred to Wood Campus on February 23.
