Yorkshire and Humberside TTBS host charity curry night

26 July 2022

The Timber Trades Benevolent Society’s Yorkshire and Humberside region is hosting a curry night on October 13 at 7.30pm in order to raise funds for ‘the timber industry’s own charity’.

The curry night, which promises to be “a great night of quality food, good company and a few beers” will be held at a new venue this year – Maa Indian restaurant at 6 Ladygate, Beverley, East Yorkshire, HU17 8BH. The organisers say the plan is to meet at 7pm at the latest at the Kings Head Pub, 38 Saturday Market, Beverley HU17 9AH.

Diners can look forward to a full Indian banquet served at their tables and a fully licensed bar.

The cost is £42.50 per person and to book places, please email peterhunt@tmtimber.co.uk

Payment to be made at time of booking and invoices can be supplied.

The organisers say they are restricted on numbers, so would recommend booking as early as possible.

For anyone wanting to stay overnight, Premier Inn, Kings Head, Lairgate Hotel and the Beverley Arms are suggestions.
