17 April 2024

Garden furniture, grow your own and decorative garden structure specialist, Zest, part of the P&A Group, fielded a team to take on the Manchester Marathon on Sunday April 14 to raise money for North East Wales Mind, the P&A Group’s charity for 2024. Nine employees took part.

It is a powerful testament to our commitment to raising awareness of mental health issues as we support North East Wales Mind as our chosen charity this year,” said Steve Morgan, Zest’s managing director.

The team was made up of people from across the business, including Hazel Bainbridge, Andrew Baker, Iwan Gwyn, Ben Morgan, Richard Shaw and Reza Yaghoubi. They were joined by Pawel Czapiewski, Krzysztof Narloch and Jan Wardyn representing one of Zest’s Polish partner companies.

The fund-raising run followed another – the Chester 10K on March 10, which saw 13 Zest employees take on the challenge.

Runners included Andrew Baker, Hazel Bainbridge, Jenny Blackburn, Steve Gibson, James Guilfoyle, Owen Kelliher, Lowri Mitton, Ben Morgan, Zak Richards, Luke Roberts, Jason St Lawrence, James Turner and Reza Yaghoubi.
