Carrefour clocks up 530 stands

The Carrefour International du Bois exhibition in Nantes, France, now has 530 exhibitors booked and has announced an international line-up of speakers for its conference and presentation programme.

The organisers of the event, which takes place at the city’s Beaujoire exhibition centre from June 4-6, say they are also confident of attracting in excess of the 10,000 visitors who attended the show in 2012 and say they are expected to come from 70 countries worldwide.

The Carrefour, which is exclusively focused on timber and wood products and timber in construction, includes presentations and seminars under the banner Timber Techniques & Solutions on each day. Topics covered include latest products and technical developments and international market trends.

A key focus is also timber in construction and speakers here will incldue architect and editor Pekka Hekkinen form Finland, architect and designer Pierre Thibault from France and architect Mamoun Zaari from Morocco.
