Compsite Prime helps reduce plastic waste
15 June 2018Composite Prime says its wood/plastic decking saves the equivalent of 10 million plastic bottles every six months going to landfill.
Sales director Charles Taylor said in every square metre of decking the company recycled the equivalent of 280 plastic milk bottles or 3,000 plastic bottle caps.
“Over the past six months alone we have recycled the equivalent of 121,500,000 plastic bottle tops and save an estimated 9,520,000 milk bottles from going to landfill or into the oceans,” said Mr Taylor.
Composite Prime was established two years ago and now has more than 70 stockists across the UK.
