Harlow Bros acquires Bolt Building Supplies

Independent builders merchant and timber engineering business Bolt is based in Halstead, Essex with an annual turnover of £15m.

“We want to continue to build on the fantastic work that Bolt Building Supplies have done in the past 30 years and are looking forward to working with the management team and helping to develop the business in the future,” said Paul Harlow, director at Harlow Bros.

“Bolt is a well-established independent merchant with an excellent reputation for the products and services that they provide.

“The acquisition will provide many opportunities for the Harlow Group both geographically and in terms of the products and services it can offer.”

Harlow Bros, based in Long Whatton, near Loughborough, has an extensive business including importing, merchanting, timber product manufacturing and timber engineering operations.
