Robinson Manufacturing Strengthens HSEQ
20 January 2020Matt Davies has joined Robinson Manufacturing (RML) as its new head of health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ).
“Over the last four years, RML has expanded from three factories in the central belt of the UK to eight across the country,” said Simon Kidney, chief executive officer. “At the same time, we have extended our manufacturing landscape to include timber frames as well as trusses and joists.
“The safety and well-being of our staff is absolutely central to our success as we expand, and Matt’s role is key to ensuring that the risks associated with manufacturing are effectively managed. His leadership will drive the safety culture firmly into every niche of the business as we continue to grow”
A key part of Mr Davies’s role will be to ensure complete legal compliance and manage company-wide attitudes to health and safety.
“My approach is always to support individual development and to recognise progress and accomplishment,” said Mr Davies. “This feels like a perfect fit for RML’s values – to inspire, innovate and deliver and I’m looking forward to working with our teams across the UK to achieve great things.”
