Trade Fabrication Systems marks 25-years’ trading

8 June 2023

Trade Fabrication Systems (TFS), a UK processor of wood-based panel products, celebrates 25 years of trading this month.

The company marked the occasion by commemorating the long service of its first employee, David Ingham, who’s been with the business since it opened in 1998.

While TFS was established to service the growing peel clean floor protection market, the company has gone on to invest more than £2m in diversification of operations.

Expanding to provide a B2B offsite solutions service, the company has recently introduced edge banding capabilities, alongside existing CNC machining and coating facilities.

Howard Morris, appointed as managing director in 2018, said the business had gone from strength to strength and now, a quarter of a century after opening its B2B processing doors, TFS is a multi-million pound business, employing over 50 people.

TFS plans to continue its 25-year celebrations throughout the rest of the year, with a series of customer and industry events planned, as well as new business initiatives.

“Having recently been awarded a USA patent for our TradeCoat ProteX peel clean technology, we’re looking forward to marking the milestone with our first international joint venture,” concluded Mr Morris.
