Wiehag pushes boundaries

Austrian timber construction specialist Wiehag is pushing the boundaries again, this time with a project to build the largest and most complex timber roof ever built in Scotland.

Wiehag, which hit the headlines for its massive glulam gridshell roof for the Canary Wharf Crossrail station, is now building a 200m long glulam timber roof for the prestigious Macallan Distillery in Scotland.
