Gerry Britchfield has been appointed managing director of Coillte Panel Products (CPP), the panels division of Coillte.
Gerry Britchfield is currently managing director of the Coillte Enterprise Division, the venturing arm of the Group, and a member of the Coillte Group Executive Team. He has worked with Coillte since 1992 in a variety of senior management roles. He is a chartered accountant by profession and also holds an MBA from Dublin City University. Prior to joining Coillte, he held finance-related positions in the accountancy, IT and manufacturing sectors.
Mr Britchfield takes up his appointment on the retirement of John Dwyer at the end of June. Mr Dwyer joined Coillte as general manager, finance in 1989 and held a range of senior roles within Coillte, latterly as managing director of CPP. He led the buyout of Louisiana-Pacific‘s 65% stake in SmartPly and more recently the acquisition of Medite in 2006.
