Sixty eight golfers made the trip across the channel for this year’s TTJ Golf Challenge.

The competition, on December 4, was held at the Le Tronchet and Des Ormes courses near St Malo.

Dave Link of DLH Timber won the TTJ Invitation Trophy for best score of the day, with 35 points playing off a 12 handicap.

Winner of the Le Tronchet course trophy, sponsored by Combilift, was Frank Green of Caledonian Plywood, with 35 points off 13. He also scooped the prize for nearest to the pin, while Chris Tyrer, part of the contingent from T Brewer, was course runner-up.

N Whiting won the Des Ormes course prize, sponsored by BSW Timber, with 34 points off 6. Mark Harrod was the runner-up with 33 points off 20,

Dave Link was nearest to the pin and D Whiting recorded the longest drive.
