After five years of growing the UK market for timber windows and doors, Byko-Lat and the Performance Window Group (PWG) have also renewed their contractual relationship for a further five years. Under the contract, Byko-Lat will manufacture timber windows and doors sold by the PWG Group brands of Timber Windows and Dale.
"We have been very happy with the relationship with the PWG Group and have also benefitted from a remarkable increase in market penetration for our timber windows and doors in the UK," said Valts Kurpnieks, managing director of Byko-Lat.
"We are delighted to be able to continue this strong relationship with added investment into our manufacturing facility."
Demand for the factory’s products is expected to grow at a rate of 20-30% per annum on key markets.
Byko-Lat said PWG had shown growth for its brands – Timber Windows and Dale Windows.
"The relationship with Byko-Lat has been excellent and through very good co-operation and anticipation of our sales growth we have been able to successfully meet our increased demand whilst maintaining our high levels of customer service and market leading quality standards," said Jay Pengelly, managing director of PWG.
Byko-Lat is part of Norvik Timber Industries.
