The Linde E60 to E80 series trucks were launched earlier this summer and comprise four models, and one version with a load capacity of eight tonnes and a 900mm centre of gravity.
Over the past few years the German company has been modernising its range of electric counterbalance trucks, replacing models with more powerful and more efficient trucks.
The E60-80 trucks have a powerful encapsulated drive unit with two 11kW three-phase AC traction motors integrated into the front to allow them to carry the increased load. They are able to turn in a radius of 3m.
"For many operating companies electrically powered trucks have become the solution of choice thanks to their lack of emissions and quiet operation," said counterbalance product manager Allison Tucker.
"At the same time this segment is also seeing the trend for higher load capacity classes with a view to handling larger volumes of goods per cycle and increasing productivity."
