Jewson trio

19 December 2011

Jewson has made three new appointments to its executive management team.

As Jewson's new sales director, Adam Smith will draw on his experience working from a variety of commercial and sales roles within the steel industry, with his most recent role as sales and marketing director at Tata Steel.

Moving from his role as deputy head of corporate planning based at Saint-Gobain's head office in Paris, Vince Fenson joins Jewson as procurement director. He has also held a number of senior roles for Gyproc in the past, including marketing & business development manager and regional managing director.

Simon Jones also brings key skills with him from his time working in management consultancy across global businesses. He joins from KPMG Management Consultants where he held a senior position within the operations strategy group and now takes the role of business development director at Jewson. This is a new position within the Jewson executive team and is a direct reflection of the importance the merchant business has placed in this area.
