BM TRADA Certification Ltd has created the position of accreditation manager to further expand the business in 2007. John Hunt, with more than 15 years in business certification and accreditation, has taken on this new role.
Mr Hunt holds lead auditor status in the majority of BM TRADA’s areas of expertise and will be responsible for overseeing BM TRADA’s UKAS, overseas and other accreditations. Under his guidance, the accreditation team comprises Bob Foster, Nicola Currant and Marina Velazquez, with further appointments envisaged as new product areas are identified.
In addition, David Wood has joined BM TRADA as international business manager, to manage the company’s overseas agents in more than 40 countries, assisted by international business co-ordinator Lesley Myring.
Mr Wood brings with him more than 12 years’ experience in the certification industry. He will also liaise with BM TRADA joint venture businesses in Spain, Turkey and Latvia and will be responsible for identifying and developing further joint ventures.
Technical marketing and sales co-ordinator Robin Askey has been promoted to sales manager.
