There was a cliff-hanger finish to the Ernest Bennett & Co (Darlington) Ltd 5-a-side football competition held in aid of the TTBS in the north-east in June, the team from MH Southern beat the Joseph Thompson team 4-3 on penalties after the game finished 1-1 after extra time. The event raised £497.40 for the TTBS.
