Dieffenbacher will supply the equipment, for the manufacture of thin HDF/MDF, to Kronospan-Mofa Hungary Farostlemezgyártó. The line will replace an existing hardboard plant at the company’s Mohács factory.

Construction work will start by the end of 2006, with start-up scheduled for mid-2007.

The line will be a 2.25×18.5m CPS press designed for the production of thin board from 2-6mm. Its capacity will be about 200,000m3 per year based on a thickness of 3mm.

Meanwhile, Asia Dekor has won the race to open China’s first continuous chipboard production line.

Dieffenbacher supplied the 8.5ftx20m line to Asia Dekor in Huizhou, located close to several furniture manufacturing plants.
