Dundalk-based Moffett has entered into a worldwide licensing agreement with fellow Irish company Combilift, giving Moffett the right to manufacture and sell a Telemount truck-mounted fork lift.
The machine, to be marketed as the Telemount, will be sold through Moffett’s existing distribution network from autumn 2006.
Both companies have also agreed on future research and development co-operation within truck-mounted fork lifts.
The Telemount, which has a lifting capacity of up to 2.5 tonnes, is designed to allow truck operators the ability to load and unload from one side only. Its telescopic boom is designed to reach all parts of a trailer.
