Nick Cliffe has been appointed executive director of Forest Stewardship Council UK on an interim basis.
Mr Cliffe, who takes over from Anna Jenkins, was previously marketing communications manager of FSC-UK. He will be responsible for drawing up a business plan and a three-year programme for the organisation.
He said: “I feel excited about the appointment. We are going through a process of reassessing how FSC operates and how we provide the best possible service to our customers.”
Prior to working for FSC-UK, Mr Cliffe was a marketing executive for education publisher Pearson Education Ltd and Storebrand Investments UK.
